The Climb Smart climbers’ 3-day festival and Friends Of Joshua Tree fund-raiser is officially set for Friday – Sunday October 12-14, 2018; the 23rd annual staging launches the season with education and stewardship at the core of the event, and a great way to get into the world-class climbing mecca of Joshua Tree while giving back to the Park and climbing community that loves and caresfor it.

Many pro athletes, working guides and instructors, brand and specialty retail representatives and key members of the Joshua Tree climbing community will gather again to learn and practice good technique and ethics around the area. The National Park Service always offers up a special stewardship project for a subset of the attendee base of Climb Smart, and registration will be all-inclusive with camping, dinners, entertainment, skills clinics, and managed toprope climbing included in one very reasonable price. Registration will open very soon so stay tuned to our social stream (facebook, instagram and twitter) and sign up for our quarterly newsletter up above if you haven’t already.

Hope to see you in October! Remember that the event caps at 240 registrants, so don’t wait too long…

yours truly ,
