Friends Of Joshua Tree is dedicating April 8-10 weekend to educate, articulate and celebrate our region’s native tribes, ancestral and sacred lands and our cooperative stewardship of the Park and all the wild beauty of the High Desert. 

Only $15, and you can come enjoy the Saturday evening celebration at the Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater, an amazing venue that Climb Smart veterans will know well… it’s even better now with major improvements over the past year!

Camping at Joshua Tree Lake Campgrounds is available, and you can book your camp spot easily right here. 

FRIDAY NIGHT, APRIL 8:  Informal gathering at the JT Lake Campground with JT Distillery for tasting and camaraderie . 

SATURDAY, APRIL 9:  Distribute Self-Guided History Tour of iconic and ancient native art and cultural icons in and around Joshua Tree National Park 

SATURDAY NIGHT, APRIL 9:  The big event! Raffle, Spoken Word and feature film “Spirit of The Peaks’ screened in the magnificent Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater! 

SUNDAY, APRIL 10:  Tribal Member climbing day with Top Joshua Tree Climbing Guides (invited tribal members only).
